The Joburg Theatre (previously named The Civic Theatre) in conjunction with Showtime Australia amd Kaya FM are proud to bring SA audiences the world premiere performances of HIStory – This Is It – a spectacular tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. This sensational recreation of pop history will premiere on The Mandela stage at Joburg Theatre from January 19th to February 13th 2011.

Direct from Las Vegas and performing for the first time in South Africa, Kenny Wizz – the world’s most highly acclaimed Michael Jackson impersonator – will bring to South African audiences the chance to relive the legend. Together with a full international touring company of musicians, dancers, authentic costumes and one of the biggest lighting rigs ever used at Joburg Theatre, HIStory is the recreation of what the fans crave – a Michael Jackson concert!

This musical biography takes you back to The Jackson 5 and then on a thrilling journey as hit after hit tells the story of one of the greatest pop icons the world has ever known. HIStory – This Is It features over twenty songs – all performed live by Kenny – including ABC, Ben, Beat It, Billy Jean and many, many more.
