All Hung Up
Would all members of the female sex please pay attention? The information I am about to share with you WILL save your lives…and your time…and heaps of space. And no, melodramatics isn’t my thing. Is the art of buying handbags your absolute passion? Do you classify ‘Accessorizing’ as an art form? If you answered yes to these two questions then it’s truly a Fashion No-No to be without these two new fabulous finds of mine.
Handbags are like treasures. They are highly sought after objects, and sometimes we break the bank to own one, so once we make the purchase we consider them something of a prized possession. We endeavour to give them the respect they deserve; after all they do add that ‘Je nais se quas’ to all couture, be it designer or off the rack. Only problem is as our collection grows, so our space diminishes and our treasures find themselves suffocating in our shoe cupboards, under our beds, or dare I even say it, behind the bed. If you have this problem, let me introduce you to your new best friends. The Bagsnagger.
The Bagsnagger is simply put a giant hanger for handbags (genius eh?). It has 7 clip tabs, which allow you to store either one handbag on each tab or two small handbags. It comes in a variety of colours and is Über stylish. Its portable and washable that means it can travel. Pop it in your suitcase and off you go. When you reach your destination hang it on the hook of your wardrobe, dressing room door or bedroom door. You can even let it hang off a hanger in your wardrobe.
The designer and creator of this amazing product is Lara Waters, a busy working mommy who had the same problem as all of us. She took matters into her own hands and Voila! She has gone on to create the Sunnysnagger, a space saver for Sunglasses that is also tearing up the market. It pretty much works in the same way as the Bagsnagger except that each tab only holds one pair of Sunglasses. These fabulous items have been featured all over the pages of Elle and Cosmo and already have their own fan following.
It’s time to take our power back ladies. Do I hear Lara Waters for President?
The Bagsnagger retails for R195 with the Sunnysnagger retailing for R175 each. Lara Waters can be contacted on 082 456 3713 or on E-mail lara@cala.co.za . Check out her website for available patterns and upcoming products www.cala.co.za
