Chlolo Cupcakes is the brainchild of superwoman and creative caterer Robyn Wilson. Based in Johannesburg, the Chlolo boutique bakery is run from her home in Riverclub (that’s near Sandton). Everything is freshly made to order and contains no artificial sweeteners or preservatives, so for all you drama queens with funny food sensitivities you’re pretty safe.

Cupcakes of all colours and flavour’s are the name of the game and to say you’re spoiled for choice is one way of putting it.  From Caramel Crème to decadent Chocolate, luscious Vanilla and tongue wagging Coffee and Walnut - you’re guaranteed to find a flavour to suit your tastes. Robyn caters cupcakes for all occasions and can be custom made. Be it a wedding, baby shower, birthday party or corporate event, she’ll ensure that your cupcakes fit the festivity. When it comes to taking them home you can set them up on a ‘to die’ for Cupcake Stand (available from Chlolo) to dazzle your guests, or present them as a gift to your hostess in a stunning gift box.

Another thing that got us buzzing was Chlolo’s fabulous  “Gingerbread Decorating Kits”. These are bound to be a Mommy’s best friend. They contain either a Gingerbread man or woman, blue or pink icing, and an array of sweets to decorate the biscuit with. They will make great additions to party pack’s, or put them on tables at your child’s party, the kids will love them and it will provide endless entertainment.

If there’s one thing we at RAVE love, it’s a strong creative woman making her mark; and when she dishes up a feast of goodies to boot, not only do us SA ladies beam with pride, but it makes everything that much better and sweeter to swallow.
