The ‘toons’ we’re simply raving about.

Looking for some groovy music to set the mood for your Christmas Eve ‘to-do’, or does the idea of two stunning male voices to keep you company on that long, dreary holiday drive just complete the package for you? Well here at Rave we’ve found you just the right tunes to satisfy both requests!
The reality TV show, Britain’s Got Talent, has turned out many a star; quite a notable one is Paul Potts. Now come on ladies, we all remember him. The cell phone salesman turned operatic super nova? Well if his name doesn’t jog your aging memory, his voice sure will. His most recent offering in his third CD release is titled Cinema Paradiso. It’s dedicated to the music of the movies. Packed full of oldies including Moon River, Up Where We Belong and What A Wonderful World; there are some modern tunes to keep even the teeniest of boppers grooving. We loved his version of My Heart Will Go On (from the movie where that ship sinks) and Josh Groban’s Se. All in all, he hits the right notes, and definitely leaves us feeling all warm and fuzzy!

Once Upon a Christmas Time...

As kids all of us at Rave were glued to our fairytale books; We’re talking Cinderella looking oh so glam at the ball, Snow White getting that romantic kiss to wake her the heck up from a dashing prince, and who can forget that ugly looking duckling who showed its true colours and in the end turned into a beautiful swan? Well, think Hansel and Gretel now because our latest ‘must have’ for the festive season looks like it comes straight out of one of those books!

Ladies – here at Rave we know all too well that the hoopla of the end of year ‘do’s’ call for beautifully manicured nails with a dash of sophisticated colour. From Christmas functions, family dinners and braai’s to that all important New Years Eve bash, we have found you just the thing to ensure your hands make that star studded entrance.

Sad for the lactose intolerance club, but yippee for the rest of us. Clover, the leader in the milk industry has once again pushed the envelope in providing the best in milk and ensuring that our summer bikini's and toned bodies continue to shine.

Play us a song Mr Piano Man...

Bach, Beethoven and Motzart – legendary composers right? You must be thinking (a) they are way out of your generation gap, and well, (b) our grandparents were merely a distant thought when these virtuosos’ roamed the streets. Correct on the one hand, but so wrong on the other!  The incredible skill that is ‘piano playing’ has been revived once again, this time played to perfection by 2 blokes who ooze talent and personality and if we’re being honest they make the whole affair look and sound just plain cool.

Tea-off with this for Summer

The Rauch Ice Tea Range
Summer is the perfect time for family braai’s and tons of social get together’s! This means lots of food, good music, and something ‘lekker’ to quench that horrid heat wave thirst.
I personally find so many Ice Tea’s on offer to be so acidic and heavy tasting, which is why I am so excited about my latest RAVE.  Rauch Ice Tea’s are finally available in South Africa and are just in time for the festive season rush. Imported from Austria, the Rauch Ice Tea brand is a family owned enterprise specializing in Ice Tea’s and Fruit Juices.
